Recurring patterns when using Jake

- satiated, but not bloated
- calmness
- no stool issues
- no sleepiness
- no heat waves/spikes
- diarrhea when eating too much crap (chocolate, in my case)
- lower heart rate during exercise
Trial month
Week #1
Normal breakfast and dinner, Jake Shake at lunch.
Weight: 94.8kg
Day #1
- could barely finish 1/4 of one jake meal
- taste ok, texture ok
- feeling full
- feeling really sleepy
- psychological weirdness: the brain wants to eat but the stomach knows it’s full
- mental clarity
- burp smells like vanilla
- normal food makes me bloated
Day #2
- very relaxing sleep but woke up with a headache
- sleepy/brain fog before lunch
- managed to eat 1/2 of one jake meal
- feeling satiated
- pulsating feeling in the head
- sleepiness
- headache seems reduced after massive amounts of water
- pee smells like vanilla :D
- normal dinner makes me bloated and gives me cravings
Day #3
- deeper/restful sleep
- went down way easier today, ate about 90% of one jake meal
- 3 sips jake, 1 sip water = headaches gone
- sleepiness, but less than usual
- really really calm (lack of blood sugar spikes?)
- not hungry at all
- ate normal dinner anyway: got cravings and some of the calmness went away
- first time winter is actually cold(ish) for me
Day #4
- good sleep
- shitty day with lots of errands, barely any time to even eat, let alone cook: this is where Jake really shined
- first day where I was able to actually finish a whole Jake meal in one go (and not because of the cocoa)
- added a little cocoa to Jake for some variety
- seeds are great because they help me remember to drink slowly
- too lazy to cook dinner, had a whole Jake (I’m loving this convenience)
Day #5
- gassy in the morning
- some winter hiking, feeling a bit weak (time to also order Jake Sport?) but not hungry until noon
- Jake at lunch with some cocoa, went down very easy (probably from the morning hike)
- some winter off-roading, felt focused and confident, definitely not hungry
- Jake at dinner, went down very easily (probably because it was an active day)
Day #6
- regular dinner => sleepy
- lost 1.3kg since starting Jake
- social day, no jake
- regular food: cravings seem less powerful, knew better when to stop eating
Day #7
- first time I’ve had Jake for breakfast
- went skiing, felt very cool, calm and collected (first ski of the season)
- felt hungry at the right time
- Jake at lunch, went down very easily
- regulardinner
Week #2
Jake as often as possible
Weight: 94kg
Day #1
- agitated sleep (what a coincidence that regular dinners give less peaceful sleep)

- regular dinner with regular post-dinner cravings
Day #2
- slept with interruptions, seems I’m a very light sleeper on regular food
- had Jake for late breakfast
- had some work to do, lunch got postponed, didn’t feel hungry at all
- Jake at lunch
- Jake at dinner
- first full Jake day, feeling fine
- very curious about how well I’m going to sleep

Day #3
- peaceful/deep sleep, less sensitive to noises so I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night
- slept exactly 8 hours
- gf reports no snoring
- had to run some errands before breakfast, didn’t feel hungry until I got back
- Jake breakfast
- regular lunch, have to ration Jake because apparently it runs out really quick if you eat it every day :) and I didn’t re-order quickly enough
- now that I know what ‘full’ actually means and ate regular food accordingly, it wasn’t so bad; the hard part is having that self control for every meal
- Jake at (a pretty late) dinner
Day #4
- slept ok
- regular breakfast, it seems like I now know better when I’ve had enough to eat
- regular lunch, sleepiness

Conclusion
I have not noticed any issues since occasionally consuming Jake, as such, I will continue to do so but will not be keeping such a detailed log, I will only record significant changes from now on.
After a few more months I’m also planning on having blood tests done, mostly for the peace of mind of those around me
Total weight loss this trial month has been 4.3 kg (95.7 -> 91.4) or almost 10 pounds (210.9 -> 201.5).
